Dusha Connection started their concert activities in the new year as a guest at the eminent Jazz Festival in Havana (Cuba) – Jazz Plaza Festival

From 16th till 21th January, Havana and the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba, the latter for the second time, have been host to 33rd International Jazz Fest – Jazz Plaza. The intense programming of the most important annual jazz event on the island, a genre to which Cuban musicians have contributed so much.

The International Jazz Plaza Festival has gained an internationally recognized space in its more than three decades of history. This 33rd edition, was attended by renowned Cuban musicians, led by the multi-award-winning pianist Chucho Valdés, one of the most internationally recognized contemporary jazz players, as well as Roberto Fonseca & X Alfonso with Special Guest, Dee Dee Bridgewater with Theo Croker and DVRKFUNK, Joe Lovano with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Cuba, Ted Nash Trio, and more than 48 International and National artist. Also,The Jazz Plaza 2018 program has included, in addition to the daily concerts, exhibitions and workshops, among other events.

Dusha Connection had the privilege to present themselves to the Jazz Plaza audience with 3 concerts during this festival.
